▇ Chemical Name Reaction product of N-phenylaniline and 2,4,4-trimethylpentene
▇ Molecular Formula C20H27N
▇ Molecular Weight 393.655
▇ CAS 68411-46-1
▇ Characteristics and Applications
Antioxidant 5057 is an aromatic amine primary antioxidant and a highly efficient liquid antioxidant. When used in combination with phenolic antioxidants such as 1135, it has a good effect in preventing scorching of polyurethane flexible foam. In addition, Antioxidant 5057 can effectively control the viscosity increase in oils due to oxidation. It is widely used in various industrial lubricants (such as internal combustion engine lubricants, heat-conducting oils, high-temperature chain oils, and compressor oils) and fuel oils, as well as other polymers such as elastomers and adhesives.
